Illustrations
Have you thought about using illustrations in your company's annual report? What about using illustrations for:
- client/shareholder newsletters
- advertisements
- web sites
- technical manuals
- brochures
- invitations
- Christmas cards
"What's wrong with clipart or stock photos?" I hear you ask.
Here are some reasons for avoiding clipart:
Ever wondered why the "Harvard Business Review" makes extensive use of illustrations and cartoons? Well they're not stupid. The message they are conveying is "We are creative, funny, and original". This carries over to the articles and to the readership.
Using clipart can make your company look cheap and unprofessional. Certainly NOT the image you want to convey. Original illustrations suggest or re-inforce an image of a creative, innovative company staffed by professionals.
Do you want to look like all the other companies out there? You will if you use clipart. Stand out from the crowd with original made-to-measure illustrations. Give your audience a visual treat.
Why waste valuable time looking for a suitable piece of clipart only to end up with something entirely unsuitable? Just tell me what you want and I'll draw it in whatever style you want. Couldn't be easier.
Use my form or e-mail me with your ideas and questions.
Avoid Stock photographs:
Stock photos should be avoided for the same reasons as clipart. Good photographs by professional photographers cost the same or more than illustrations so why not choose illustrations.
You can e-mail or use my enquiry/order form to ask for more information or a price.
Illustrations don't have to be funny...
but
humour is often the best way to make your audience more receptive to what
you have to say. Not a happy Christmas for Dairy farmers?
Not to worry though because I can do funny or serious illustrations. Convinced then commission an illustration now
